Here I am. Doing this. My first blog post as a new online identity – the flannel teacup.

I’m going to be very upfront right now. I’m new at this, I’m a bit uncomfortable, and I’m a smidge nervous. As the title says: this is an unfamiliar world to me. But hey, I’m going for it!

Everyone’s been telling me I need a “niche” – I opted not to. This site is just as much for me as it is for you and I want to share what’s important to me – random thoughts, photography, poetry, and even helpful tips. Feel free to read a little bit more about me in the About Me Page!

The goal here is to have something I created – my own little part of the internet. I hope you stick around for a while.

Edit: I went back to this post after posting for about a month or two and wow. I just love the outlet that this has created for me. I’m glad it’s open to pretty much anything – poetry, thoughts, photography. Especially photography. I’ve been more active on my Instagram and I just love how people from all around the world have been liking my photos.
