I recently explored the Carson River for the first time and took some calming landscape photos. These landscape photos of the Carson River area are just a small piece of the joy and peacefulness that this area brings. It was a crisp winter day and I was pretty bundled up, not expecting the sun to shine so bright. Bringing along coffee was a great call, really made the whole experience a bit more cozy.

This was definitely more of a walk than a hike. I personally didn’t mind and enjoy just going out for a quiet stroll every one in a while – especially when it’s quiet and the sun is out.

After checking it out online, I saw that there were numerous off shoots of this trail so I’m hoping to go back to explore a bit more. The trail we did – although we just kind of made it up as we went – was just a loop that grazed the river at some point.
