We were surprised by the amount of snow on the trial and weren’t adequately prepared in the shoe department. As a result, we only made it about half way up the mountain before we turned around. I actually can’t wait to attempt it again in the spring – hopefully with more luck. The views were extraordinary and I hope you enjoy seeing them through my lens!

This trail was a wonderful adventure. We were greeted by snow like I mentioned and every turn was different in terms of weather depending on which was the mountain was facing. There were some steep drops that you had to watch your footing a bit more but my gosh, this was a great trial.

I think the best part about this trail were the views through the trees. It just screamed serenity – like you’re hidden from the world but close enough to take a peek.
