I wanted to outline some random blog thoughts I’ve had recently.

I’ve been doing this for a bit now and have been reflecting. It turns out, I enjoy documenting my adventures. I enjoy uploading my photos and (sometimes) detailing what that adventure was like.

While I enjoy writing poems, I don’t really like having to write them on a deadline. What if I’m just not feeling it, you know? And also, they’re personal. I guess if I’m being honest, that’s still not a comfortable feeling for me. I like keeping things private. At least I tried it, and now know that I don’t really love it. Maybe I’ll like it more if I hear feedback or grow my following a bit. We’ll see. I’m thinking of making those entries private for now as well.

But for now, I don’t like the pressure or writing factual blogs. I might throw in some accomplishment blogs but I think I mainly want to keep this as adventure and photo based. Also, I want to mention that I’m not sure I’ll be as consistent. Sometimes I don’t have extraordinary tales to tell and I want to be okay with that.

So I guess I am going back on my first ever post where I mention I don’t want a niche. My niche is adventure and living life it seems. I’m excited about this decision and hope that I grow my following a bit more (here and Instagram). I want to reach more people with my photos if I’m being honest. I think Instagram has been so rewarding – and that’s with only getting less than 30 likes on a photo. Just knowing that those random people have seen something I created makes me happy.
